Members of Parliament and Senators approved a bill on attendance allowance for children up to 13 years old

On 24 March 2020, Members of Parliament approved a bill on the extension of attendance allowance prepared by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The senators approved the bill on 25 March 2020. Employees will receive the attendance allowance for the whole period schools and other institutions remain closed. The attendance allowance will be extended also to all children under 13 years old. The changes will be effective only during the COVID-19 emergency period.
